Unfinished AIDS business

The debate about the origin of HIV has started in earnest again after a group of ten scientists claimed that the virus started in Africa. For ten years, the scientists had been trying to retrace the steps of the deadly virus and now believe that it started in Cameroon. It is believed that two colonies of chimpanzees were the original source.

I personally do not believe that HIV began in Africa and will counter the latest research findings. But for those keen to read on about this story it is published in the Guardian.
